Family care, given a structure that lasts.
Sybilix is a multi-generational family legacy system, founded by twelve brothers and sisters and named for their mother. It exists to keep the family connected, strengthen its members, build shared financial capacity and create opportunity.
Making the family wealthy is only part of it. Family members already want to help one another. Sybilix turns that instinct into a durable system, so support no longer depends on emergency collections, one generous relative or the energy of one founder.
To do that, it uses the tools of a well-run institution: governance, financial stewardship, investment, business development, education, succession, record keeping, mentorship and well-being.
One system, five parts that feed one another.
The departments are not separate units. Money, people, knowledge, businesses and support move between them. Each is organised into three divisions.
Family Bank & Charity Arm
Receives family contributions, holds member deposits and administers affordable family loans. It sets money aside for investment, for charity and for scholarships, and gives the other departments the financial base they work from. Its charity work is carried out through the Sybilix Foundation, the family's registered non-profit.
- Financial Management DivisionCollects and records every contribution and sees that funds are used well.
- Loans & Deposits Management DivisionTracks deposits and processes loans, so members get support when they need it.
- Education, Charity & Family Grants DivisionThe charity arm. Supports education and health needs and administers scholarships.
Wealth Management
Puts the family's capital to work, preserves it and grows it. It invests in equities, real estate, family lending pools and family businesses, then redeploys the returns where they strengthen both the fund and family life. The family's businesses and resources are to be held inside the Sybilix Fund Family Trust.
- Assets & Investment DivisionMakes investments and manages assets for profit and financial security.
- Private Equity & Venture Capital DivisionFinds and backs new ventures and private equity opportunities.
- Annual Report & AGM DivisionPrepares the annual report and organises the annual general meeting.
Business Management
Turns ideas, skills and market openings into working businesses. A family member can bring an undeveloped idea and get help with planning, training and preparation before going to the Shark Tank.
- Business Training DivisionTrains and supports family members who want to start or grow a business.
- Business Creation DivisionIdentifies and supports new business opportunities for the family.
- Real Estate DivisionManages and invests in property and helps family members acquire homes.
Wealth Transfer
Makes sure Sybilix never depends on one generation or one set of skilled people. It mentors and trains family members for the boards and departments, and helps each family put its own succession in order.
- Succession Planning DivisionKeeps successor records for each family and helps with life insurance and wills.
- Estate Planning DivisionSees that each family's assets are managed and protected after a passing.
- Selection Process DivisionGuides the choice of board representatives and grooms them for leadership.
Family Insight & Well-being
Knows the people Sybilix exists to serve. It keeps the family tree, records and archives, brings the family together, and looks after members who are hurting or struggling.
- Family Health & Counselling DivisionLooks after health and stress, gives health advice and runs fitness activities.
- Family Archiving and Assemblies DivisionKeeps the family database, history, pictures and stories, and runs retreats and reunions.
- Family Seminars and Programs DivisionOrganises seminars and talks that educate, inspire and gather the family.
How value moves through the family.
Each step feeds the next, and the last one leads back to the first.
- Family members contribute to the Family Bank, and may save or pool extra money there.
- The Family Bank sets part of its resources aside for investment.
- Wealth Management puts that capital to work in suitable opportunities.
- Business Management develops businesses and ideas, and prepares them for investment.
- Successful family businesses create jobs and contribute in their own right.
- Those business contributions strengthen the Family Bank and make room for the next family entrepreneur.
- Wealth Management returns its proceeds and funds loans, real estate and new investments.
- Scholarships and education develop the next professionals, managers and leaders.
- Wealth Transfer prepares those people to take over the boards and departments.
- Family Insight keeps everyone connected, informed and cared for, so growth never replaces family purpose.
Two boards, one from each generation.
Each of the twelve founding family branches has a seat on both boards, so the growing family stays represented across its original lines.
Senior Board
The founding generation. They oversee, mentor and correct, and they keep decisions true to the Sybilix constitution and spirit.
Junior Board
The next generation, one member for each branch. They manage the departments day to day and learn governance by doing it, so that they are ready to become the Senior Board in their turn.
Three long-term works.
The Sybilix Shark Tank
Where prepared family ventures meet capital. A member can offer equity, ask for a loan only, or keep developing the idea. Nothing is forced. The aim is accommodation, not control.
Family housing
Developments that pair homes sold at market price with homes reserved for family, so family homes can be offered at the lowest sustainable cost.
The Legacy Institute
Training that starts young and continues into leadership, business and finance. It may one day serve other families too.
What we stand on.
Resilience, sacrifice, care and practical support. These are the values the structure is built to carry forward.
- Family before ego
- Stewardship rather than personal enrichment
- Mutual support with responsibility
- Opportunity rather than dependency
- Preparation rather than accidental succession
- Transparency and accountability with money
- Faith-informed values alongside sound analysis
- Continuous improvement that keeps the spirit of the legacy
